With barely 0,2433 hectares and 971 bottles in the 2020 vintage, Los Tollos is one of the smallest singular vineyards in Rioja. In fact, the winemaker, Gorka Etxebarria finds that “Viñedos Singulares is a great starting point to show a new Rioja which is miles away from the large productions.” Los Tollos is a fleshy red, showing rich, ripe, spicy fruit notes that fill the whole palate.

“Singular Vineyard” is a geographical entity smaller than the municipal area, located in the territory protected by the Qualified Designation of Origin 'Rioja' and identified with a name. There are currently only 84 unique vineyards in Rioja, totaling nearly 155 hectares. They are very special vineyards within the 65,000 hectares of the DOCa Rioja.
