What do they say?
The artistic spirit of one of Denmark's most beautiful fishing towns Skagen, inspired this new champagne cuvée. The 'Skagen' champagne celebrates a fellowship of famous impressionist painters, who produced some of Denmark's finest artworks during the late 1800s. They were among the first Scandinavians to enjoy the delights of champagne. 'Skagen' honours arts and the Scandinavian art of 'hygge'. The winemaker, Yvonne, says 'this Extra Brut is my favourite Rosé champagne and its extra dry vibrancy makes excellent pairings. Adds zest and a delicious counterpoint to red berry desserts and summer fruits, or be adventurous and enjoy with lobsters or dressed crab'.
What does The Secret Vine say?
Like all good wine connoisseurs, we search exclusive bottles to add to our collection. Skagen is perhaps the wine that reflects the most all our aspirations, as wine connoisseurs .
Yvonne (the Winemaker) embodies this concept, by naming her champagne after this picturesque, almost artistic, and definitely gorgeous fishing village in Denmark, called "Skagen"!
